Cultural Preservation and Youth Development
The Meski Association for Sustainable Development endeavors to increase local awareness of environmental issues and encourages citizens to take responsibility for preservation of the Meski's natural resources. The Meski Association organizes trash clean ups, restores water chanels for irrigation, and local beautification projects.
Meski is a village of over 4,000 people in the east of Morocco. It is home to an ancient Kasbah, a date palm oasis, and a famed water spring. The economy is based upon agriculture. This lively community loves to share its musical and dance traditions.
